Testimonials

“Finding Lambs & Ivy felt like winning the lottery. I’m so grateful to Gena and Kayte for taking such good care of our son during that precious first year. It’s so hard to leave your little one, but Gena and Kayte made it infinitely better and it didn’t take long until they felt like an extension of our family. It’s rare to find a place that communicates so freely and thoroughly; never once did I feel in the dark or unsure. Kayte and Gena went above and beyond when it came to our son and I’m so lucky we had the chance to experience their love and compassion. I’d highly recommend Lambs and Ivy and know that my son has greatly benefited from being in their care.”

“I am a first time mom so was extremely nervous to leave my 3 month old with anyone when I went back to work. Gena and Kayte met with my husband and I and answered all my first time mom questions. After that first meeting more questions came up but not once were they bothered of answering anything I may have asked. This was more so apparent when I returned to work and would check in twice a day, if not more. They never once made me feel that I was a bother. I was pleasantly surprised of the report cards I received of my sons day from meal times, sleep schedule and diaper changes. As he has grown and is now eating solids Gena and Kayte are there once again answering all my questions without annoyance. As the days, weeks and now months have passed they give me the reassurance I need. They genuinely care about my son as if he was there own, and I can see that in is smile when he sees Gena and Kayte and reaches out to be picked up by them. Any new parent or second time around parent should have their baby taken care of by these wonderful ladies! They are now an extended part of our family and I will forever be grateful for their patience, knowledge, helpfulness and impact they have had in our lives.”

“We’re first time parents who have been bringing our daughter to Lambs and Ivy for the past 6 months, and couldn’t be happier with the care and love they provide. We love that our daughter is surrounded by other babies, and can socialize and have fun every day - she truly loves it! They have a great setup, many educational toys, and are able to accommodate babies who may need a darker room for naps or separate area to eat. They support our individualized parenting decisions, including helping our daughter with baby-led weaning since she started eating at 6 months old. We highly recommend Lambs and Ivy!”

“Lambs & Ivy has been an incredible blessing to our family. As first-time parents, it was incredibly scary (and stressful) to think about our daughter being anywhere but with us. Then we found Lambs & Ivy, which feels way more like home than a daycare. Olivia has received amazing care from Kayte and Gena, and they have treated her like their own since Day 1. Olivia is SO happy when we walk up to the door each morning, and she practically jumps out of my arms when she sees Kayte or Gena open the door. The setup is truly an infant Disneyland - toys everywhere, books upon books, and other sweet babies to play with every day. Every day, we know Olivia will get to read books, hear fun music, dance (a lot of dance parties!), learn, and interact with other babies. They have worked patiently with us on Olivia's evolving sleep schedule and have supported us as we introduce solid foods into Olivia's diet. We aren't the easiest parents (I don't think many first-timers are), but they've treated us like family and have truly become a part of ours. I challenge anyone to find a better combo than Kayte and Gena: both are parents to amazing kids of their own, Kayte and her husband have been foster parents for many years, and Gena is a pediatric nurse. As hard as it was to leave Olivia when it was time to head back to work, we've known from the beginning that she was in the very best hands. We will always be indebted to Lambs & Ivy for being Olivia's first home away from home…”
